This tip is the ‘Swipe to Delete’ - an easy way to delete many things on the iPhone. It works in the Mail app and videos in iPod.
How to Add Businesses to Contacts with GoogleMaps
We have been asked many times about why we use the Contact app to record businesses. This video shows how you can easily add all of a business’s details by finding the business in GoogleMaps and then adding it to contacts. Thus adding all info including telephone number, address and website. Here is a Youtube video showing exactly what we mean -
How to use the Budget Summary
There have been several comments about the budget section on iTunes Reviews which are not correct. The budget section works as intended and is automatically filled with totals from items that are marked as ‘Chosen’ or ‘Booked’. You are not supposed to tap items to add amounts.To add extra items tap the ‘ + ‘ button in top right.
How to use ‘Photos’ Section
There are 2 ways to access and use the Photo section of iWedding.
1. The ‘Photos’ button on Home Screen allows quick access to mainly view photos and can be ‘filtered’ or sorted by business name. We intend this to really be a ‘Photo Browser’. Initially you cannot add a photo here as the filter is set to ‘ALL’. If you change the filter to ‘General’ then you can add a photo to this ‘General’ category but adding a photo by the following method is preferred.
2. Navigate to the details screen of any business - E.g. In ‘My Wedding’ tab - choose section - i.e. Wedding - choose item - i.e. Venue - add a business - tap ‘+’ button in top right. Add/Choose a business - on details screen for that business, there is now a button top right - ‘Photos’ - tap this to enter photo section specifically for this business - any photos added here are auto labelled with this business name. The ‘Filter’ in home screen photo browser now has this business name in as well - to allow the filtering of specific business photos.
How to Preview a Song in iTunes
We provide links in iWedding for Wedding Music and for FIrst Dance Suggestions. When selected iWedding exits and iTunes opens on your device. You can preview the song by tapping on the song name - you get a 30 second preview.
How to Save a Photo / image from the web
Simply tap on the image and hold your finger on the image for a few seconds. A dialog will appear at the bottom of the screen asking if you want to Save Image or Cancel. Choose Save Image, and it will save the photo into your Photo Albums.
How to add a ‘Plus 1′ guest
Just add a guest using ‘Just a Name’ in the appropriate list and name them E.g. ‘Joe Smith’s +1′. Therefore you can record their individual meal choice. Later you can edit the name by tapping directly on the blue arrow (which takes practice).
